Solid Timber Shelf Beam Range

Description

Our solid oak fireplace shelves provide a beautifully crafted finishing touch above a stove or fireplace, offering a cleaner alternative to a traditional chunky beam. Made from natural timber, every shelf has its own individual grain, knots, splits and character, with a choice of sizes, colours and ageing treatments to complement both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Shelf Options

• Standard Shelf – 70mm high × 140mm deep
• Large Shelf – 70mm high × 190mm deep
• Great Shelf – 140mm high × 190mm deep for a more substantial appearance
• Hollow Shelf – approximately 102mm high × 178mm deep, creating the appearance of a substantial timber mantel with a lighter hollow construction

Standard lengths include 42″ (1067mm), 48″ (1220mm) and 54″ (1371mm), with bespoke lengths up to approximately 3 metres available.

Colours & Finishes

Choose from finishes including Natural Waxed Oak, Light Medium, Medium, Medium Dark Oak, Brown Oak, Silvered Oak and Warm Antique. A variety of surface treatments can further personalise the appearance, including Round Edge, Rustic, Dressed, Aged, Extremely Aged, Ancient and Prime.

Decorative corbel-supported shelf designs are also available for customers wanting a more traditional mantel appearance, with different corbel shapes and detailing to suit the fireplace.

For installations where the required clearance to combustible timber cannot be achieved, we can also offer non-combustible faux beams and shelves, providing the appearance and texture of real timber with greater flexibility around stoves and fireplace openings.
