HWAM 3110 Range Wood Burning Stoves

Description

The HWAM 3100 Series is a timeless Scandinavian wood-burning stove range designed by Anders C. Fasterholdt. Its distinctive elliptical body, clean lines and concealed functional details give it a refined contemporary appearance, while the surprisingly spacious 33cm combustion chamber provides excellent practicality. The range consists of three core models – the 3110, 3120 and 3130 – with the main difference being their height, installation possibilities and heat-storage capability.

Models & Differences

• HWAM 3110 – The compact model at approximately 755mm high × 479mm wide × 414mm deep. It offers the greatest installation flexibility and can be wall mounted, placed on a low plinth, fitted to a pedestal or installed on a HWAM steel bench. This makes it particularly suitable for smaller rooms or customers wanting a more architectural installation.
• HWAM 3120 – The classic freestanding model at approximately 1005mm high × 479mm wide × 414mm deep. Its taller body gives the stove more presence while retaining the same slim elliptical proportions. It is the natural all-round choice where a conventional floor-standing stove is preferred.
• HWAM 3130 – The tallest model at approximately 1260mm high × 479mm wide × 414mm deep. Its additional upper section can accommodate optional heat-storage stones, which absorb heat from the fire and release it gradually after the flames have died down.

Performance

With HWAM® Autopilot™, the current UK manual specifies a 4.8kW nominal heat output, 79% efficiency and an A energy rating. HWAM® Autopilot™ mechanically regulates the combustion air to help achieve cleaner and more efficient burning without requiring constant manual adjustment.

The 3120 and 3130 can also be specified with HWAM® SmartControl™, HWAM’s electronic combustion-management system. The SmartControl specification is rated at 4.5kW nominal output, 83.4% efficiency and A+, although exact specifications can vary according to market/version.

Styling & Options

Across the range there is a choice of c (classic cast-iron door) or m (modern glass door), allowing the same stove body to take on either a more traditional or minimalist appearance. Customers can also choose Black or Grey steel, with standard, black Style or stainless-steel Style handles depending on configuration. A fresh-air connection is available for supplying combustion air directly from outside, particularly useful in modern airtight properties.

In simple terms, choose the 3110 for maximum installation flexibility, the 3120 for the classic 1-metre-tall freestanding design, or the 3130 for a taller statement stove with the added benefit of optional heat storage.
