Focus Cast Beam Range
Description
The FocusCast range offers the appearance of real timber or stone in a high-density, non-combustible mineral composite, making it ideal where a genuine wooden beam cannot achieve the required clearance from a stove. The beams are moulded from natural materials and hand-finished to recreate realistic grain, texture and ageing.
Easy Range Breakdown
| Style | Appearance | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Character | Traditional timber grain with natural-looking character | Classic & country fireplaces |
| Smooth | Cleaner, smoother timber appearance | Contemporary interiors |
| York | Heavily textured, rustic timber effect | Inglenooks & rustic fireplaces |
| Vintage | Aged and weathered timber character | Period & traditional homes |
| Heritage | Warm, characterful traditional timber effect | Classic fireplace settings |
| Stone | Natural stone-style appearance | Traditional & contemporary fireplaces |
| Riva | Distinctive fluted/reeded surface | Modern statement fireplaces |
The latest brochure lists seven FocusCast ranges: Character, Smooth, York, Vintage, Heritage, Stone and Riva. Note that an older Focus webpage still describes six ranges and omits Heritage, so the current brochure is the better reference.
Sizes & Colours
FocusCast is offered in five beam sizes, with up to five length options depending on the selected design. The timber-effect ranges are hand-finished in a choice of five standard colours plus two special colours, giving customers options from lighter natural-oak effects through to richer, darker aged finishes.
For your website, I’d avoid publishing individual dimensions and colour names unless copied directly from the current order sheet, as the public Focus information I can verify confirms the number of sizes/colours but doesn’t expose the full size-and-colour matrix in searchable text.
Why Choose FocusCast?
Because the beams are non-combustible rather than timber, they can be positioned closer to a stove than a conventional wooden beam, subject to the installation requirements. Focus states minimum clearances of 250mm above a 5kW stove and 350mm above a 7kW stove for its non-combustible beams and surrounds. Easy-Fix installation and optional feature lighting are also available.
