Studio Sizes & Heat Outputs

The Studio range is available in four sizes, allowing you to choose the right proportions and heat output for your room.

Studio 500 – 5kW
The most compact model in the collection, with a nominal 5kW heat output and an operating range of approximately 1.7–7kW. Its smaller dimensions make it ideal for more compact rooms while still providing the distinctive wide Studio flame picture.

Studio 1 – 5kW
Offering wider proportions than the Studio 500 while retaining a practical 5kW nominal output, the Studio 1 has a heat output range of approximately 1.7–7kW. It is an excellent choice for small to medium-sized living spaces where a larger contemporary fire is desired without excessive heat.

Studio 2 – 8.5kW
Designed for larger rooms, the Studio 2 provides a substantial 8.5kW nominal heat output, with a heat output range of approximately 2.8–11kW. Its wide firebox provides an impressive panoramic view of the logs and flames.

Studio 3 – 12.6kW
The largest and most powerful model in the range, the Studio 3 delivers 12.6kW nominal heat output, with a range of approximately 3.8–16kW. Its extra-wide proportions make it a dramatic centrepiece for large living rooms and open-plan spaces.

Inset Studio Fires

For a streamlined, built-in appearance, the Studio can be installed as an inset cassette fire. A choice of contemporary framing options allows the fire to be tailored to your interior, including minimalist Edge installations and a selection of stylish Profil, Steel and Bauhaus frame options depending on model.

The inset design creates a particularly clean architectural appearance, making the flames the main focal point of the room.

Studio Freestanding

For customers who prefer the presence of a stove, the Studio range is also available as a freestanding wood-burning fire. The freestanding models combine the same contemporary widescreen flame view with the flexibility to be positioned directly on a suitable hearth or raised on a Stovax bench.

Stovax Studio Bench Options

One of the standout features of the Studio Freestanding range is the choice of Stovax steel stove benches. There are nine bench options, with different widths and high or low configurations available to complement the proportions of your chosen Studio.

A shorter bench can create a neat, balanced appearance, while a wider bench provides a dramatic contemporary platform with additional space alongside the stove. This makes it possible to create a bespoke-looking installation and turn the Studio into a real feature of the room.

Optional heat shields are also available for Studio Freestanding models when fitted to a compatible bench. These can significantly reduce the required distance to combustible materials behind the appliance, providing additional flexibility when planning an installation.

Efficient Wood Burning

All Studio models are dedicated wood-burning fires and feature advanced combustion technology to provide efficient, controllable heat. Cleanburn technology helps maximise combustion, while the Airwash system directs heated air across the glass to help maintain a clearer view of the flames.

The Studio range is Ecodesign Plus and offers an A energy efficiency rating, with efficiencies of approximately 75.8% to 77.8%, depending on the model.
