The RAIS Visio three-sided collection takes the traditional wood-burning fireplace and transforms it into a striking architectural feature. With glass surrounding the fire on three sides, the flames can be enjoyed from multiple viewpoints, making a Visio particularly effective in open-plan living spaces, feature chimney breasts and contemporary room-divider installations.

Designed in Denmark, the Visio range combines minimalist Scandinavian styling, large areas of glass and sophisticated combustion technology. The emphasis is deliberately on the fire itself – slim framing and understated detailing allow the flames to become the focal point of the room.

RAIS Visio 3

The Visio 3 is the classic three-sided model. With glass across the front and both sides, it creates an exceptional panoramic view of the fire while remaining elegant and discreet when integrated into a fireplace surround.

A particularly attractive feature is the lift-up glass door. Rather than opening conventionally into the room, the door simply pushes upwards, providing convenient access to the combustion chamber while maintaining the clean architectural appearance of the fireplace.

The standard specification includes a glass door with black edging, with a stainless-steel edged door available as an option. Black and stainless-steel cover frames can also be specified, allowing the finishing details to complement the surrounding interior.

RAIS Visio 3 L – Go Bigger

For customers looking for greater visual impact, the Visio 3 L takes the concept to another level.

The defining feature is its extra-large glazing, creating an expansive frame around the flames and an appearance that comes remarkably close to an open fireplace while retaining the benefits of an enclosed wood-burning appliance.

At approximately 1088 mm wide x 504 mm deep x 504 mm high for the installation dimensions, the Visio 3 L creates a substantially wider fire view than the standard Visio 3. It is particularly impressive in larger rooms, open-plan living areas and substantial architectural fireplace installations.

The door again operates with an elegant upward lifting action, while the handle can be specified in stainless steel, black or wood. A simple black or stainless-steel frame completes the minimalist appearance.

The Visio 3 L can also accommodate up to 70 kg of additional heat-accumulation stones, allowing heat to be stored and gradually released after the fire has reduced.

RAIS Visio 3 Uniq – Minimalism Taken Further

For the ultimate minimalist fireplace, consider the Visio 3 Uniq.

The Uniq takes the three-sided Visio concept and strips away even more visual distraction, creating an exceptionally clean transition between the fireplace, glass and surrounding architecture.

The result is a fireplace that almost disappears when it is not in use, yet comes alive when lit, allowing the natural movement and colour of the flames to provide the visual drama.

The Visio 3 Uniq has a rated heat output of 9.3 kW, providing substantial heating performance alongside its striking contemporary design.

RAIS Advanced Glass Concept®

A defining feature across the Visio collection is the exceptional view of the fire. RAIS uses its Advanced Glass Concept®, taking a holistic approach to the glass and combustion chamber to create the best possible conditions for keeping the glazing clear and providing a beautiful view of the flames.

This becomes particularly important on a three-sided fireplace, where the glass isn’t simply a window into the combustion chamber – it forms a major part of the design.

Heat Accumulation & Convection

Selected Visio models can be enhanced with heat-accumulating stones. These stones absorb excess heat while the fireplace is burning and gradually release it afterwards, helping extend the feeling of warmth beyond the active fire.
