RAIS 2:1 Tunnel Wood Fire Range

Description

The RAIS Visio 2:1 Wood is a striking double-sided, see-through wood-burning fireplace designed to create a visual connection between two rooms.

With expansive glass on both sides, the Visio 2:1 allows you to enjoy the same fire from two different spaces. Built into a dividing wall or architectural feature, it creates an impressive tunnel effect, bringing warmth, light and atmosphere to both sides of the fireplace.

Its minimalist Scandinavian design, wide firebox and sophisticated vertical lift doors make the Visio 2:1 an exceptional choice for contemporary homes and open-plan interiors.

A True See-Through Tunnel Fireplace

Unlike a conventional fireplace that can only be viewed from one room, the RAIS Visio 2:1 features glazing on two opposite sides.

This creates a genuine see-through fireplace, allowing you to look through the flames from one space into another.

It is ideal for installations between a living room and dining room, kitchen and lounge, hallway and living area, or anywhere you want to create separation while maintaining a feeling of openness and connection.

Designed to Connect Two Rooms

The Visio 2:1 works beautifully when incorporated into a dividing wall.

Rather than creating a solid visual barrier between two spaces, the fireplace becomes an architectural opening, with the movement and glow of the flames visible from either side.

This makes the Visio 2:1 particularly suited to open-plan homes, contemporary extensions and bespoke architectural projects.

Wide Panoramic Flame View

The Visio 2:1 has a wide, horizontal firebox that gives the fireplace an elegant panoramic appearance.

Generous clear glazing keeps the structure surrounding the fire visually discreet, allowing the flames to take centre stage.

The result is a fireplace that looks impressive from either side of the installation.

Vertical Lift Door System

The RAIS Visio 2:1 features a sophisticated vertical sliding door system.

The glass lifts upwards to provide access to the combustion chamber, avoiding the need for a large door to swing out into the room.

This system complements the fireplace’s minimalist design and is particularly useful where the fire is incorporated into a clean architectural wall or feature structure.

Scandinavian Design

RAIS is renowned for its understated Scandinavian approach to fireplace design, and the Visio 2:1 is a perfect example.

Clean lines, discreet framing and expansive glazing ensure that the appliance itself remains visually understated.

Instead, the fire and flames become the main design feature, creating a warm focal point that can be appreciated from both rooms.

Efficient Wood-Burning Performance

The RAIS Visio 2:1 combines its impressive architectural appearance with modern wood-burning technology.

Depending on the applicable specification/version, RAIS documentation lists output up to 8.6 kW and efficiency up to 80%.

This makes the Visio 2:1 particularly well suited to larger contemporary living spaces where both visual impact and effective heat are important.
