FDC Epsom Fireplace

Description

The FDC Epsom is an elegant, beautifully proportioned fireplace surround combining clean architectural lines with subtle traditional detailing. Its understated design makes it equally at home in a classic period property or a more contemporary interior.

The Epsom is available in a 56″ (1420mm) overall mantel width, with an overall height of approximately 1140mm including the hearth and a substantial 215mm shelf depth. Depending on the chosen configuration, rebate options are available to accommodate different fireplace openings, inserts and chambers.

Materials & Finishes

The Epsom is available in a choice of beautiful natural stones, including:

• Aegean Limestone – soft off-white tones with a fine grain and occasional natural fossil markings.
• Rosal Limestone – Portuguese limestone with a warm pale-cream appearance and subtle natural character.
• Volakas Marble – Honed – a striking Greek marble with a white background and delicate grey to light-brown veining, finished with a smooth, understated matt surface.

Key details: 56″ / 1420mm mantel width, approximately 1140mm overall height including hearth, 215mm shelf depth, with 25mm and 75mm rebate options available depending on material and configuration. Bespoke sizing is also available.

The Epsom can be used to create a complete fireplace with a wood-burning stove, gas or electric fire, cast-iron insert or open chamber, subject to the appropriate installation requirements.

As each fireplace is made from natural stone, variations in colour, veining, fossils and markings are part of its character, ensuring every Epsom fireplace is individual.
