Description

The WIKING Luma range combines clean Scandinavian styling with a large fire view and simple, efficient operation. Designed by Danish manufacturer WIKING/HWAM, the collection comprises six models – Luma 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 – allowing the same distinctive design to work in everything from compact contemporary rooms to larger open-plan spaces.

Across the range, the stoves have a 7kW nominal heat output, approximately 81% net efficiency, A+ energy ratingand a 150mm flue connection. The manufacturer gives an operating range of approximately 4–9kW.

Choose Your Luma

The key difference between the models is their height and glazing configuration. Luma 1, 3 and 5 feature additional side glass, giving a wider view of the flames from around the room, while Luma 2, 4 and 6 have solid sides for a simpler, understated appearance.

WIKING Luma 1 & Luma 2 are the most compact models at approximately 801mm high. Luma 1 adds side glazing, while Luma 2 has solid sides. These models can also be specified with an optional pedestal or wall-mounting arrangement, making them particularly versatile for contemporary installations.

WIKING Luma 3 & Luma 4 introduce a taller body and useful storage space beneath the combustion chamber. Luma 3 provides the panoramic effect of side glass, while Luma 4 has solid sides and can also be specified with decorative cladding options.

WIKING Luma 5 & Luma 6 are the tallest models in the collection. Their increased height gives them considerable presence in larger rooms, while a heat-storage compartment can accommodate optional heat-retaining stones to continue releasing warmth after the fire has reduced. Luma 5 incorporates side glass; Luma 6 uses solid sides and is also available with decorative cladding options.

WIKING Automatic™

Ease of use is one of the Luma range’s strongest features. The stoves incorporate WIKING Automatic™ combustion technology, designed to help regulate the combustion air as the fire burns.

The result is a stove designed to make achieving efficient combustion straightforward, while the user retains simple control of the fire through the conveniently positioned air-control lever.
