The Focus Gyrofocus is an iconic suspended fireplace, instantly recognisable for its sculptural form and dramatic floating design. Created by Dominique Imbert in 1968, the Gyrofocus has become a landmark of contemporary fireplace design, combining architectural impact with functional heating.
With its generous 1,250 mm diameter and suspended installation, the Gyrofocus creates a striking centrepiece while allowing the fire to be enjoyed from multiple areas of a room.
Fuel Options
The Gyrofocus is available in wood-burning, gas and bioethanol versions, allowing the fireplace to suit a variety of properties and installation requirements.

An Icon of Fireplace Design
More than a source of heat, the Focus Gyrofocus is an architectural feature. Its suspended circular hearth appears to float within the room, while its rotating design allows the fire to become a focal point from different viewpoints.
Originally created in 1968, the Gyrofocus remains one of Focus’s most recognisable designs and an exceptional choice for contemporary homes, extensions and large open-plan living spaces.
