Description

The WIKING Maxi is a wide-format Danish wood-burning stove designed for customers wanting a larger flame view and generous firebox. The range consists of the Maxi 2, Maxi 4 and Maxi 6, all delivering a 6.3kW nominal heat output, 75% efficiency and an A energy rating, with WIKING® Automatic™ combustion control fitted as standard.

• WIKING Maxi 2 – the lowest and most flexible model, 667mm wide, with a choice of wall-mounted, plinth, low-leg or high-leg configurations. It is ideal for customers wanting the wide Maxi firebox without a tall stove.
• WIKING Maxi 4 – the mid-height model, available with steel sides or natural grey stone cladding. The stone version adds substantial thermal mass, helping retain and gradually release warmth.
• WIKING Maxi 6 – the tallest model and strongest statement piece, with steel or natural-stone finishes and the option of heat-storage stones, allowing stored warmth to continue radiating after the fire has died down.

All three models share the same 6.3kW output, so the choice is primarily about height, styling and heat-storage options rather than heating power. The wide combustion chamber accommodates logs up to approximately 52cm long, while top/rear flue options, a three-way airwash system and optional external-air connection provide additional installation flexibility.
