Description

The Huntingdon stove range from Stovax and Gazco combines traditional cast-iron styling with modern heating technology. With its classic detailing, generous flame view and choice of sizes, fuels and door styles, the Huntingdon is a versatile option for both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Three Sizes – Huntingdon 20, 30 & 40

The Huntingdon range is available in three sizes, making it suitable for everything from smaller rooms and fireplace openings to larger living spaces.

Huntingdon 20 – The most compact model, ideal where space is limited.
Huntingdon 30 – The popular mid-size option, offering a balance of proportions and heat output.
Huntingdon 40 – The largest Huntingdon, designed to make a statement in larger fireplaces and rooms.

Clear Door or Tracery Door

Personalise the appearance of your Huntingdon with a choice of two distinctive door styles.

The Clear Door provides a cleaner, simpler appearance with an uninterrupted view of the flames, while the Tracery Door incorporates decorative Gothic-style cast-iron detailing across the glass for a more traditional look.

Whichever style you choose, the large viewing window makes the fire an attractive focal point in the room.

Standard or Longer Legs

Stovax Huntingdon wood-burning and multi-fuel models are supplied with beautifully proportioned traditional legs, with optional longer legs available for customers wanting the stove to sit higher.

The longer-leg option raises the stove by approximately 50mm, creating a taller, more prominent appearance while retaining the classic Huntingdon design.

Wood Burning & Multi-Fuel – Stovax Huntingdon

For customers wanting the experience of a real solid-fuel fire, Stovax offers the Huntingdon in advanced Ecodesign wood-burning and multi-fuel versions.

The range combines classic cast-iron styling with modern combustion technology, including Cleanburn and Airwash systems. The convector design also helps reduce required distances to combustible materials, giving greater flexibility when planning an installation.

Huntingdon 20: 4.1kW nominal output, with a heat output range of approximately 3–5.5kW. Maximum efficiency is up to 80.9%.

Huntingdon 30: 5kW nominal output, with a heat output range of approximately 3.5–7.5kW. Maximum efficiency is up to 82.7%.

Huntingdon 40: 8kW nominal output, with a heat output range of approximately 4.5–10kW. Maximum efficiency is up to 76.4%.

The Huntingdon 20 and 30 are available as dedicated wood-burning or multi-fuel models. Multi-fuel versions feature a closeable riddling grate, allowing the stove to burn suitable smokeless mineral fuels as well as logs. The larger Huntingdon 40 is a dedicated wood-burning stove.

Huntingdon wood and multi-fuel stoves are Ecodesign Plus and DEFRA exempt, making them suitable for use in UK Smoke Control Areas when installed and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Gas – Gazco Huntingdon

For the traditional appearance of a Huntingdon with the convenience of gas, the Gazco Huntingdon Gas Stove is also available in three sizes.

A realistic log-effect fuel bed and attractive flame picture provide the character of a traditional stove, while gas operation offers fast, controllable heat without the need to store logs or clear ash.

Huntingdon 20 Gas: approximately 1.2–2.3kW heat output.
Huntingdon 30 Gas: approximately 2.1–3.8kW heat output, depending on model and gas type.
Huntingdon 40 Gas: approximately 2.7–5.5kW heat output, depending on model and gas type.

The Huntingdon 30 and 40 gas stoves are available in Natural Gas or LPG versions, with conventional and balanced flue options depending on the installation. Remote-control upgrades are also available on selected models, including programmable thermostatic control.

Like the solid-fuel range, Gazco Huntingdon gas stoves are available with a choice of Clear or Tracery doors, allowing you to choose between an uninterrupted flame view or a more decorative Gothic appearance.

Which Huntingdon Stove Is Right for You?

Whether you prefer the authenticity of a Stovax wood burner, the flexibility of a multi-fuel stove, or the instant controllable warmth of a Gazco gas stove, the Huntingdon range offers an impressive combination of traditional styling and modern performance.

With 20, 30 and 40 size options, Clear or Tracery doors and a range of heat outputs, there is a Huntingdon to suit many different room sizes, fireplaces and interior styles.

Heat outputs, efficiencies, fuel options and installation requirements vary by model. The correct stove output and installation should always be confirmed for the individual property and installation.
